June 2 thru June 25 is a 4 week semester with classes still on spring semester schedule. Summer Schedule starts July 7, & goes thru August 30,2008 with Day Classes. WE HAVE ONGOING REGISTRATION THROUGH THE SEMESTERS.

Miss Megan Cancellieri, a resident of Southampton began her training at the Conservatory at the age of three under Aras Ames and continued to dance principal roles with the Company. Ms. Cancellieri also attended the BOCES Syosset Performing Arts high school for dance and attended the prestigious summer intensive program of Central Pensylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Marcia Day Weary. After highschool, Ms. Cancellieri furthered her education and while doing so she continued her dance training at Danse Arts. She gained more performance experience , taking Master Classes in Ballet and also joined Danse Arts on a new level as a teacher. Ms. Cancellieri has now taken on the new adventure of studio owner and is continuing teaching ballet classes for the younger students, beginner teens and she is also teaching classes at our two satelite schools in Southampton at Our Lady of the Hamptons and in Montauk.

Ms. Betteanne Terrell, has been a teacher for our Company level dancers here at Danse Arts since 2003. She was previously a professional dancer and choreographer with New York Opera Ballet. Ms. Terrell was also the Ballet Mistress for Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo. She founded a dance company New York Dance Alliance, which performed throughout the country. At the same time she continued to teach in New York City. She has been teaching at Danse Arts since 2002, and continues to take classes in the City, and has been an inspiration to all our students, as well as a wonderful teacher.
